This one-day excursion is dedicated to the discovery of the city of Essaouira (Mogador).
Day trip to Essaouira departure from Marrakech program :
In the morning after breakfast, we take the road towards the city of Essaouira for around 2 hours.
Discover the city of Essaouira, located on the Atlantic coast, through a full-day excursion from Marrakech. The path offers views of the arid landscape and argan trees along the way. On the way, we will stop at the town of Chichaoua for a coffee break.
The old medina of Essaouira – MOROCCO
Arriving in Essaouira, enjoy a first view of its golden beach which attracts surfers thanks to its constant and invigorating winds. Free time to explore the medina and Portuguese architecture. Also, you have the possibility of hiring a local guide for a visit which lasts approximately 1 hour and a half of the Skala du Port and the bastion to the south-east of the medina.
Stroll through the labyrinthine streets of the medina filled with traditional Gnaoua music and the workshops of artisans who make art objects from thuja wood.
After visiting the Medina, you continue towards the fishing port to see the fishermen selling their catch of the day. Enjoy fresh seafood at lunch in the port. Then, stroll along the beach before your transfer to Marrakech.

On the way back, we will stop to visit an argan oil cooperative to see how Berber women process argan oil traditionally, known locally as “liquid gold”.
