Day 1: Marrakech – Telouet – Ouarzazate (200 kms including 32 kms of tracks)
Kasbah Telouet | Morocco
Departure in the morning to the “High Atlas” via the “Tizi-n’Tichka pass” (2260m above the sea level) through the “kasbah Telouet” (visit of the “Kasbah Pasha Glaoui”) then we stop for lunch. We continue through an old track of the caravaneers to get to the “Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou” crossing the “Ounila valley” dotted with “Berber villages”. We continue the path to “Ouarzazate”. Overnight at the hotel or Riad in “Ouarzazate”.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Agdez – Draa Valley – Zagora (160 Kms including 22kms of track)
Kasbah Taourirt in Ouarzazate | Morocco
Departure from “Ouarzazate” at 7:30 to the “Kasbah of storks” with a panoramic view of the lake. We continue the road to “Agdez” via the “Tizi-n’Tinififft pass” to take the track that leads to the “kasbah Alkaid Ali” to “Tamnougale” lunch on site in a restaurant . In the afternoon, we take the track through the “Draa Valley” and its procession of palm groves and “ksours” to “Zagora”. Dinner Night in Zagora.
Day 3: Zagora – Tamegroute – Chegaga (150 km including 54 km of track)
Agdez village | Moroco
Departure in the morning to “Tamgroute” and visit of “Zaouïa”; an historical “Koranic library”; the “potters” and an underground Kasbah. We will continue to “Tagouenite oasis” by “Ait Isfoul”, arrived to “M’hamid” and lunch on site. Then we take a track to the “dunes of Chegaga” to admire the magic “sunset”. Dinner and overnight in a “nomadic tent .
Day 4: Chegaga – Foum Zguid – Ouarzazate (300 Kms including 120 km of track)
Chegaga desert | Morocco
Wake up early to watch the magic “sunrise” over the “sand dunes”, then breakfast. Departure to “Foum Zguid” to visit the “nomads” who live in “traditional tents” then passage to “Iriqui Lake”, and the desert plateau dotted with acacia trees. Picnic in “Oasis” for lunch.We continue to “Ouarzazate” via “Taznakhte”. Arrival to Ouarzazate around 17:00. Dinner and overnight at the hotel or Riad.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – Marrakech (200 Kms)
Fez, the spiritual capital of Morocco
After breakfast, departure for the visit of “Ouarzazate”: the “Kasbah of Taourirt”, the “Film Studios”, the “Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou”. Then we go through the village of “Merzgane” and the village “Ighrem”.Stop for Lunch. we will continue the road to “Marrakech” crossing the “Tizi-n’Tichka pass”.
