Grand tour of Morocco- 9 days trip from Casablanca

Day 1: Casablanca

Arrival to “Casablanca” and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Casablanca – Fez

We start this day with a visit to the “Hassan II mosque”. Then we take the road to “Rabat” the political capital of “Morocco”. We will visit the most famous monuments: “Kasbah Oudaya”, “Mohammed V mausoleum” and “Hassan tower”. Then we continue our way to the city of “Meknes”, a city that has reached its peak thanks to “Sultan Moulay Ismail”. At 27 km from “Meknes”, the ruins of the Roman city of “Volubilis” we will visit. Also we will visit the holy city “Moulay Idriss Zerhoun”. We continue to “Fez” the cultural capital of “Morocco” where we spend the night in a Riad.

Day 3: Fez – Merzouga

We start this day with a visit to the “monuments” and places most known in “Fes”: “Medersa Attarine”, “Dar El Makhzan”, “Batha Museum”, “Bab Boujloud”, “Jnan Sbil” … etc. Then we take the road to “Ifrane”, otherwise called the Switzerland of Africa. We leave “Ifrane” in the direction to “Midelt” known for its very important production of apples. We will stop in the cedar forests of the “Middle Atlas”, where lives one of the last monkey communities, a species that can be seen only in these forests and Gibraltar. We continue the path through the impressive “Ziz Valley”, through limestone gorges lined with palms and rammed earth houses. In the afternoon, we continue to the Great Dunes “Erg Chebbi” of “Merzouga” through “Erfoud” known as the “fossil capital” and its production in terms of “dates”. Arriving to “Merzouga”, we leave the 4 × 4 and we ride the dromedaries that lead us to the heart of the “desert” where we spend the night in a “Nomadic Tent”.

Day 4: Merzouga – Ouzina desert

In the Morning come back on camel back to the hotel to take breakfast and a shower. we take the road of the famous “Paris-Dakar rally track”. On our way, we pass by several “Berber villages”. This visit will allow you to know the culture, customs and traditions of the “inhabitants of the desert”. In the afternoon, we will arrive to “Ouzina” which offers you a “pleasant stay” and “relaxing” for a “well deserved rest”. Dinner and overnight in a “nomad tent”.

Day 5: Ouzina

After breakfast, we enjoy a calm day. You can explore the surroundings of “Ouzina desert” with our 4 × 4, take beautiful pictures for “unforgotten memories in the desert” …. Lunch (it will be an opportunity to discover the “very delicious local dish”) in the auberge. In the afternoon, we rest in the auberge comfortably or you can go for a walk, make the henna-tattoo under different Berber motifs or visiting the city and its surroundings. We will end the day with a cup of mint tea or “wisky Bereber”, otherwise calling, while attending the magical “Sunrise”. Dinner and overnight at the auberge.

Day 6: Ouzina – Rissani – Dades Gorges

After breakfast, we will continue our way to “Boulmane Dades” (“Dades Gorges”). We will pass through “Rissani”, the capital of the “Tafilalet” region, where we will visit the “animal market” and its “souk”, the oldest market in Morocco. Then we continue across the “Ziz Valley” to “Erfoud” the world capital of “Fossils” to visit a “fossil quarry” and discover the different techniques and stages of transformation into real works of art, tables, sinks and other decorative items. We continue our journey to the “Dades Gorges” where we will spend the night. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 7: Dades Gorges – Marrakech

In the morning, we take a walk in the “Dades gorges”. During our tour, we pass by landscapes of enormous beauty, a series of “oasis” of greenery fed by the “river of Dades”. Gradually the valley narrows, giving way to a thick series of limestone blocks with vertiginous walls the “Dades Gorges” a real pleasure for the eyes. We continue the road, a detour along the track, pass of “amgoun mountains”, then the “Valley of Roses”, and the palm grove of “Skoura” with its “kasbahs”. Arrival in the afternoon to “Marrakech” and transfer to the hotel.

Day 8: Exploring the red city Marrakech

After breakfast, we start our visit to “Marrakech” the “city of wonders”, several places of “architectural”, “historical”, and “cultural” value. We will visit the famous place “Jemaa el Fna”, classified site of the “world cultural heritage” by “UNESCO”, located at the entrance of the “Medina” then the “koutoubia mosque”. Then we will visit the “Majorel gardens” and the “Dar Sii Said” museum. Night in the hotel or riad.

Day 9: The end of our services

The morning will be free for you to shop, buy gifts for family and friends or to prepare for the return. At the agreed time, We will drop you at the airport wishing you a safe return.
